Getting started

How does MorphMe work?

You record a video of yourself doing any movement, then upload a photo of a character — a celebrity, anime figure, fictional hero, anyone. MorphMe replaces you in the video with that character, keeping your background and movements intact. The process typically takes under a minute.

What character photos work best?

Clear, front-facing photos with good lighting produce the best character swap. Avoid heavy filters, extreme angles, or busy backgrounds. The cleaner the photo, the more convincingly the character appears in your video.

What should my video look like?

Film yourself in good lighting with a stable camera. Any movement works — dancing, walking, posing, sports. The AI preserves your background and environment, so make sure the scene looks the way you want it in the final video.

Credits & billing

How do credits work?

Each video generation costs one credit. You can purchase credits in bundles through the app via the Apple App Store or Google Play. Credits never expire and are tied to your account.

Can I get a refund for unused credits?

Credits are generally non-refundable. If you have a billing issue, please contact your platform's support first (Apple or Google), then reach out to us if the issue is not resolved.

My purchase didn't credit my account — what do I do?

First, try closing and reopening the app. If your credits still haven't appeared after a few minutes, contact us via the app with your account email and the date of purchase.

Generation issues

My generation failed — do I lose my credit?

If a generation fails due to a technical error on our end, your credit is automatically refunded to your account. If you believe you were charged for a failed generation, contact us and we'll make it right.

The result doesn't look right — what can I do?

AI generation quality varies depending on the input. Try a cleaner, better-lit photo and a reference video with clear, unobstructed motion. Avoid reference videos with camera shake, multiple subjects, or very fast cuts.

My generation is stuck on "processing" — what do I do?

Generation can take up to 2 minutes during peak hours. If it's been more than 5 minutes, try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, email us with your account email and we'll investigate.

Account & data

How do I delete my account?

Contact us via the app with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We'll delete your account and all associated data within 7 business days.

Where are my photos and videos stored?

Photos and reference videos you upload are transmitted securely to our AI pipeline and deleted after your video is generated. We do not store your original uploads long-term. Generated videos are stored until you delete them or close your account.

Do you share my data with third parties?

We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the app (Supabase for auth, fal.ai for generation). We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
