MorphMe (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the MorphMe mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not collect your name, phone number, or any other identifier unless you provide it voluntarily.

Videos and photos

To generate your video, we temporarily transmit the video you record and the character photo you upload to our AI processing pipeline. These files are used solely to produce your generated video and are not retained by us after generation is complete.

Usage data

We collect anonymous usage analytics (screen views, feature interactions, crash reports) to improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify you.

Purchase information

In-app purchases are handled by Apple App Store and Google Play. We receive a transaction confirmation and credit allocation record but never see your payment card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To authenticate you and maintain your account
  • To generate AI videos on your behalf
  • To manage your credit balance and purchase history
  • To send transactional notifications (e.g. generation complete)
  • To improve app performance and fix bugs

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly to operate the app:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting
  • fal.ai — AI video generation processing
  • RevenueCat — subscription and credit management
  • Apple / Google — push notifications and app store payments

All providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7). Uploaded media files are deleted from our processing pipeline after your video is generated, typically within 24 hours. Generated videos are stored on our servers until you delete them or your account is closed.

5. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit and encrypted storage at rest. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; however, we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

6. Children’s Privacy

MorphMe is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

You may at any time:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Opt out of analytics collection (via iOS/Android system settings)

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
